I am told saffron is a spice made from the styles and stigmas of a type of crocus. I am also told it would be extremely pricey to buy a two kilogram bag of it.
Despite my passion for food, I have very little experience in the world of the culinary arts. So I am setting out to become a great cook! Or at the very least, a mediocre cook.
